WHITEFIELD CEMETERY in Sturgis, MS
This cemetery has been lost for many year. Several years ago, Pete Thomas of Sturgis made it his project to reclaim it. Many of our Heflins lived in the WhiteField area. Most of the headstones have been lost, stolen, etc. We know at least one Heflin, John L son of James and Sarah, is buried there with at least one wife. If anyone has every been there, please contact me.

[Bob Heflin] My relatives visited that cemetery and found the headstone of John L. Heflin and a Susan Heflin buried next to him. [Karen Hines]
