1. Though the 1910 census lists her as white, family verbal tradition says she was Indian.
2. Supposedly she sued the railroad company because she was forced to ride in a car with
African Americans when she was a Native American, she won the suit. (Per the Spears'
now living).
3. No markers exist for the Graves and family members believe the paved road there now
covers part of their plots.
